                   AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING AN ALLEY
                   LOCATED SOUTHEAST FROM GREENWOOD AVENUE,
                   BETWEEN CLEVELAND AVENUE AND CITICO AVENUE,
                   MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby 
closed
         and abandoned an alley located southeast from Greenwood Avenue, 

         between Cleveland Avenue and Citico Avenue, more particularly
         described herein, and as shown on plat attached hereto and made 
a
         part hereof by reference:
                A 10 foot wide alleyway beginning on the southeast
                line of Greenwood Avenue 457.2 feet northeast of
                the intersection of the southeast line of Greenwood
                Avenue with the northeast line of Cleveland Avenue,
                and extending southeast 95 feet between parallel
                lines to the northwest line of an intersecting 10
                foot alleyway.  Said alleyway separates lot 14,
                block 1, from lot 1, block 9, East Side Park
                Addition, as shown by plat of record in plat book
                6, page 27, R.O.H.C. Tax Map No. 146B-K-38 and 39.
               
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage as 
provided
         by law.
